Call before you dig!

Before you start digging, always call 811—this is a free service that helps protect you from accidentally damaging underground power lines, gas pipes, and other utilities. Keep in mind, 811 is a separate organization from our electric co-op, but they play a vital role in ensuring your safety.

By dialing 811, a professional team will come out and identify where the public utility lines are located, so you can safely proceed with your digging project without putting yourself, your neighbors, or essential services at risk. It’s a free service that helps prevent accidents and costly repairs. Keep in mind, 811 does not locate private utilities like power that runs from your meter to your house.
