Applicants must have the ability to demonstrate proficiencies in all classes of overhead and underground distribution, as well as wood-framed transmission work. The successful applicant will work effectively and safely in a fast-paced, challenging outdoor environment. A valid North Dakota Commercial Driver's license (CDL), including air brake endorsement, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire, is required. Employee must be willing to become or maintain qualifications in basic first aid, CPR, and pole top rescue. To meet the position requirements as a Journeyman, applicants must hold a Journeyman Lineman's certificate issued by the U.S. Dept. of Labor.

This position will work mostly in the office assisting the Manager of Engineering Services.
To perform effectively in this position, applicant must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a four-year accredited EAC/ABET engineering program; completion of sophomore year required. A minimum of a 2.5 grade point average (GPA) is required. An emphasis in Power Systems preferred. Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid North Dakota driver's license.
