Water Heaters

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the 2010 extreme winter and spring storms Mor-Gran-Sou suffered and the resulting financial impact to the Co-op, we have had to suspend this program at this time. In the future, we hope to again offer this program when feasible. Thank you.

Mor-Gran-Sou offers members an opportunity to obtain the Marathon Water Heater (by Rheem). The Marathon Water Heater features an all polybutene tank guaranteed not to leak, rust or corrode for as long as you own your home. It also is one of the most efficient water heaters on the market.

To help members defray the purchase cost of an electric water heater:

Mor-Gran-Sou will send a $50 rebate when a member purchases a new electric water heater in a new home or facility, or if a member replaces a fossil fuel water heater with a new electric water heater.
Mor-Gran-Sou will send a $25 rebate when a member replaces an existing electric water heater with a new electric water heater.
Member will receive check after a quick inspection is performed and a copy of the original receipt is received.
