Flood Update from 2011:

In the interest of public safety, Mor-Gran-Sou continues to monitor the flood situation. As the Missouri River flood waters continue to recede, Mor-Gran-Sou is restoring service to locations that are accessible, and that pass inspection beforehand. State law requires wiring certificates be issued on homes that were flooded before we may re-energize them.

Members:
If you leave your residence for an extended period of time, please notify us with your contact info (phone number, cell) where you can be reached.
If you return to your home, please also let us know.
If your basement is flooded, DO NOT go into the basement. Call MGS, we will disconnect the electrical service.
At this time, MGS has no plans to de-energize areas unless directed by Emergency Management.

To members who are affected by flooding - if you wish to have your service disconnected, please call the office and we will disconnect the service and remove the meter for you. Mor-Gran-Sou is continuing to monitor the situation and the power supply in our service areas.
