Flood Info

Flood Update from 2011:

In the interest of public safety, Mor-Gran-Sou continues to monitor the flood situation. As the Missouri River flood waters continue to recede, Mor-Gran-Sou is restoring service to locations that are accessible, and that pass inspection beforehand.  State law requires wiring certificates be issued on homes that were flooded before we may re-energize them.

  • Members:
If you leave your residence for an extended period of time, please notify us with your contact info (phone number, cell) where you can be reached.
  • If you return to your home, please also let us know.
  • If your basement is flooded, DO NOT go into the basement. Call MGS, we will disconnect the electrical service.
  • At this time, MGS has no plans to de-energize areas unless directed by Emergency Management.
