Basic Safety Tips

Electricity can be dangerous if you are not careful. Remember these safety tips:

• Never fly kites near power lines
• Never climb trees near power lines
• Never go near downed power lines or substations
• Keep ladders, TV antennas and other objects away from power lines
• Keep fingers and other objects away from electrical outlets
• Never overload outlets by plugging in too many cords
• Use extreme caution when using electric appliances near water
